A Court Order was signed yesterday by US District Judge Royal Furgeson which VACATED the courts March 2, 2006 denial of Routiers Motion for Reconsideration. In this order, the court also GRANTED Routiers Motion for Reconsideration (Filed April 2006) and also GRANTED Routiers Motion for Stay filed (Feb 2006).

Right, Ive realised that Ive been doing pretty much nothing with this community, and I really should be. There have been some updates on the case recently, and I really should be updating properly.

Updates coming soon, and I will be pimping to get more members :)

My name is Jenny and I am new to this community and relatively new to this case. I have only recently familiarized myself with this case and find it to be a great travesty. It's one example of why the death penalty cannot work. Although I will say that I am a huge opponent to the death penalty, that is not the only reason I am here. The situation (death penalty) becomes even worse when the person who is going to be murdered is innocent of the crime s/he was convicted of. I believe Darlie Routier to be innocent. If anything, there is a great deal of doubt to her guilt which means she should not be in prison and should not be awaiting death.

Anyway, I just wanted to make some sort of introductory post. Hopefully, we can get others here as well.
